Overview

The Ventus 1 package is an entry-level aerodynamic kit for the 992 GT3, increasing downforce and reducing lap times in a safe, predictable way.

The dive planes improve front-end downforce by generating downforce on the units themselves and improving front fender evacuation. The radiator gurneys add further front downforce while improving cooling of the factory radiator. To balance those front-end gains, the kit includes wing mounts that increase the angle of attack of the factory rear wing.

Every component was developed with in-house scan data, CAD and CFD analysis, giving an OEM-like fit and finish.

Specifications

• Dive planes and radiator gurneys — 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon, autoclave cured

The Engineering

A little front downforce from the dive planes and gurneys, balanced by more angle of attack at the rear, improves aerodynamic performance while keeping a near-stock appearance. A sensible first step before committing to a full wing and splitter package.
