The Radar Module extends how long your dash cam can watch a parked car, while drawing considerably less power doing it.

How It Works

Paired with a compatible camera in Energy Saving Mode 2.0, the radar detects motion near the vehicle and wakes the camera to stand ready. If an impact follows, it saves a 20-second clip — 10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the event.

The distinction matters: conventional parking mode keeps the camera recording or running motion detection on live video, which drains the battery in hours. Radar lets the camera sleep properly and only wake when something approaches, so parking coverage stretches from hours into days.
