RV owners and commercial drivers, primarily. Mounted at the rear of a motorhome, box van or trailer, it records the area behind the vehicle where an interior camera has no view at all — through a wall, a bulkhead or a load.

Infrared recording means it stays useful in an unlit load area or after dark, which is when most of the incidents it's there to capture actually happen.
