Overview

The Hood Scoop Block-Off improves both aerodynamics and cooling on the VB WRX. Blocking the scoop reduces under-hood pressure, since the engine bay is no longer being force-fed high-pressure airflow.

That under-hood pressure causes lift and also reduces airflow through the cooling stack — the front-mount intercooler and radiator — hurting cooling efficiency. Closing the scoop addresses both at once.
