Overview

Front splitters produce front-end downforce without significantly increasing drag, by creating a large pressure delta between their top and bottom surfaces. This one adds design tweaks to the splitter's underside to improve flow while working with the OE plastic underbody panels.

The splitter is produced from carbon thermoplastic, the same material used in top-tier motorsport — not brittle, so no cracking like carbon fiber or ABS, and it won't grab and bend under the car like aluminum.

The air dam brings the splitter flat with the underbody, produced from pre-preg carbon fiber and autoclave cured for reduced weight and improved strength.

Fitment: 987.2 only. This will not fit a 987.1.

The Engineering

Iterative design work extracted more performance from the splitter and air dam combination, sizing the splitter and dive planes to counteract the rear wing and diffuser for a safe, effective aero balance. Part of the Ventus 2 kit for the 987.
