Overview

The Flat Underbody Panel Kit dramatically cleans up the underbody of the S550 GT350 and GT350R. Ford did a fine job with the car, but the underbody was a letdown — this is the easy bolt-on solution to flat-bottom it.

Combined with the Fender Evacuation Kit and Turning Vane Kit, the underbody is dramatically cleaned up, reducing drag and increasing downforce.

State-of-the-art analysis software was used during R&D, and in-house scan data gives a near-OEM fit and finish.

Important: the Flat Underbody Panel Kit requires the Fender Evacuation Kit for complete compatibility. Modification is required if you're running full-length jacking rails. It also works on a regular S550 chassis with slight modification.

The Engineering

A large part of the Ventus 1 kit's drag reduction comes from cleaning up the underbody, which this kit does thoroughly. Paired with the turning vanes and fender evacuation kit, drag reduction is substantial with a slight downforce gain from better-controlled flow around the car. A good starting package; the Ventus 2 and 3 kits go further on downforce.
