Overview

The Dual Dive Plane Kit for the C8 Stingray increases front-end downforce while keeping the drag increase minimal. The two elements work together to help extract airflow from the wheel well and produce downforce themselves at the front of the car.

They produce a safe aero balance with or without the Verus Carbon Rear Diffuser. Designed in CAD from in-house scan data and optimized using CFD analysis.

Construction is pre-preg, autoclave cured, 2x2 twill carbon with a polished high-gloss finish. 3M VHB mounting tape and precision templates are supplied for an OE-like fit.

The Engineering

The dive planes work in unison to create a beneficial vortex that helps evacuate the fenders, reducing lift on the body and adding front downforce. They tune aerodynamic balance forward without needing a larger front splitter — a larger splitter can make the car impractical on the street. Designed to work with all Ventus packages for the C8.
