The Verus Engineering Dive Plane (Canard) Kit adds front-end downforce without needing to move the front splitter further forward.

State-of-the-art analysis software was used during R&D to extract more performance from the available build volume. Built for owners looking to shift aero balance forward to balance a large rear wing or diffuser.

The Engineering

ANSYS CFD software was used to improve the kit's performance. In back-to-back testing with GearOnePerformance, Verus recorded an increase in corner speeds of 5–6 MPH from the dive planes alone, with the driver noting a more balanced setup and less understeer through corners.

The dive planes feature in both the Ventus 1 and Ventus 2 packages for the 987 Cayman. Ventus 2 leans toward a track car but remains usable daily.
