Overview

The Verus Engineering Dive Plane (Canard) Kit adds front-end downforce without needing to move the front splitter further forward. The design focuses on creating a strong vortex off the dive plane, which reduces lift in the wheel well as well as producing downforce on the unit itself.

CFD was used during R&D to extract more performance from the available build volume, increasing the downforce the dive planes generate.

Built for owners looking to shift aero balance forward, helping to balance out a large rear wing or diffuser.

The Engineering

Properly designed dive planes increase front-end grip and corner speed by improving front downforce and reducing lift elsewhere on the car. These are part of the Ventus 1 package, which slightly increases downforce without a large drag penalty and provides a safe aerodynamic balance at speed. Geared toward track use, but perfectly usable on a daily driver.
