Overview

The Control Arm Guide Strakes improve the aero balance of the C8 Corvette. By creating strong vortices in a dirty area of the underbody, they reduce drag and increase downforce by making the underbody work harder.

On a car equipped with the Verus splitter, Swan Neck UCW rear wing and rear diffuser, these strakes increased total downforce by 3% with no increase in drag. More importantly they shift aero balance forward by 4.5%, which lets you dial in more angle of attack on the rear wing — more downforce at the same balance.

Installation is simple and completely reversible.

Important: GM part numbers 85642606 and 85642607 are required for installation.
