Description
Overview
A 300mm chord swan neck wing that dramatically improves rear-end grip at speed. The wing is the main driver of the downforce increase, and paired with the front splitter it turns a GT3 RS into a genuine track weapon.
The wing was designed, iterated and tested in CFD and a wind tunnel. All mounting was designed from OEM scans and requires no permanent modification to the rear hatch. The uprights are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and FEA analyzed to keep strength high and weight minimal.
V1X Wings are assembled per order and ship within 5 business days of receipt of order unless otherwise specified.

The Engineering
The airfoil profile was run through the ANSYS adjoint solver and iteratively improved. The wing was positioned to create a good aero balance with the rest of the Ventus 2 kit, which produces a significant downforce increase over the factory car. Verus CFD data and real-world testing correlate closely.
