Overview
A 300mm chord swan neck wing that dramatically improves rear-end grip at speed. The wing and full aero kit were developed in CFD to improve track performance.
The wing alone cuts serious lap time. In back-to-back customer testing on a relatively stock GT4 at just 4 degrees angle of attack, Verus recorded a reduction of 2.5 seconds at Thunderhill and 3.3 seconds at Laguna Seca.
It installs like the OEM wing, with no permanent modifications to the car. Construction matches high-end motorsport practice, which is how the wing weighs a mere 8 lbs. The uprights are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and FEA analyzed to keep strength high and weight minimal.

The Engineering
The airfoil profile was run through the ANSYS adjoint solver and iteratively improved. The wing was positioned to create a good aero balance with the rest of the Ventus 2 kit, which produces a significant downforce increase over the factory car. Verus CFD data and real-world experimental data correlate closely.
