Overview

The UCW rear wing significantly increases rear downforce on the 991 GT3, boosting confidence on track and reducing lap times.

Verus developed the UCW to bridge the gap between their swan neck high-efficiency wing and the 300mm V1X airfoil. With a 250mm curved chord it produces more downforce than the high-efficiency wing, and significantly more than similarly sized competitor wings.

The airfoil was optimized within the available build volume — derived from the V1X — using state-of-the-art analysis software, with CFD confirming the wing receives adequate airflow once installed. In-house scan data gives a near-OEM fit and finish.

UCW Wings are assembled per order and ship within 5 business days of receipt of order.

The Engineering

The wing generates downforce across a 0 to 15 degree angle of attack range. As part of the Ventus 3 kit it adds significant downforce, reducing lap times and increasing corner speed. Verus CFD data and real-world experimental data correlate closely.
