Overview

The V1X Rear Wing significantly increases rear downforce on the C8 Stingray, enhancing confidence on track and reducing lap times. Designed to work on the factory engine cover, it bolts on easily.

Like the Swan Neck UCW, the V1X uses the low-pressure zone beneath the wing element to pull the car downward, adding substantial downforce with minimal drag penalty. The top-mount system exposes more of the wing's bottom surface to that clean low-pressure zone, and the longer chord and wider profile give the V1X far higher downforce capacity.

The headline number: the V1X at 2 degrees angle of attack produces more downforce than the UCW does at 12 degrees — and with less drag.

The airfoil was optimized using state-of-the-art analysis software and wind tunnel testing. In-house scan data gives a near-OEM fit and finish, and even the uprights mount in an area already disturbed by airflow to minimize the drawbacks of adding functional aero.

V1X Wings are assembled per order and ship within 5 business days of receipt of order unless otherwise specified.

The Engineering

The wing offers 15 degrees of adjustment for fine tuning against your front aero. As part of the Ventus 3 kit it adds significant downforce, reducing lap times and increasing corner speed. Verus CFD data and real-world experimental data correlate closely.
