Overview

The Verus Engineering Rear Diffuser combines function, form and science on the ND Miata. It reduces lift and drag while cleaning up the rear end. The unit adjusts vertically to clear a variety of aftermarket exhaust systems, and it's produced from sheet aluminum for a long service life.

State-of-the-art analysis software was used during R&D to extract more performance from the available build volume. In-house scan data gives a near-OEM fit and finish.

The non-aggressive strake design keeps the rear end subtle and clean.

The Engineering

The diffuser decreases overall lift and reduces drag, improving aerodynamic efficiency. Its strakes create vortices that keep flow attached to the diffuser surface, generating a low-pressure zone at the diffuser and a further low-pressure zone mid-chassis. Good on a daily driver or a track car.
