About Project Kics lug nuts
R26 is Kics’ very light lug nut, about 26 g each. It is a thin-wall nut forged from SCM435 steel with a rotating tapered seat of A7075-T6 aluminum and a hard alumite finish, an oversized taper seat, a 17 mm hex drive, full stud engagement and room for long racing studs. Kics describes the design as patented in Japan with a U.S. patent applied for.
