Overview
The High-Efficiency Wing significantly increases rear downforce, boosts confidence on track, and reduces lap times. Designed to work with the factory trunk and carry the downforce loads, it bolts on easily.
Verus started this wing with a clean-slate approach, using an in-house airfoil profile created with the ANSYS adjoint solver. The result is a highly efficient wing generating downforce appropriate for the typical track-day driver and street enthusiast. A swan neck mounting style keeps efficiency high by feeding the wing clean airflow, unlike typical bottom-mount rear wings.
The low drag this wing produces suits the ZN8/ZD8 chassis particularly well given its modest stock power — corner speeds increase without a large hit to straight-line top speed or street mileage.

The Engineering
The wing generates downforce across a 0 to 12 degree angle of attack range, letting it balance a variety of front aerodynamic kits. As part of the Ventus 2 aerodynamic kit, it combines with the front aero to add significant downforce, reducing lap times and increasing corner speeds. Verus CFD data and real-world experimental data correlate closely, validating both the analysis approach and the wing's performance.
