Overview

Front splitters produce front-end downforce without significantly increasing drag, by creating a large pressure delta between their top and bottom surfaces. This one adds design tweaks to the splitter's underside to improve flow with the carbon polyweave blades, with CFD used to confirm an appropriate aero balance for on-track performance.

The splitter installs with absolutely no cutting or permanent modification to the car.

It's produced from carbon thermoplastic, the same material used in top-tier motorsport. It isn't brittle, so no cracking like carbon fiber or ABS, and it won't grab and bend under the car like aluminum. The polyweave abrades away and takes a considerable beating.

The Engineering
