This is the Ford Racing 289/302 Oil Pump Drive Shaft. Part frpM-6605-B302. Oil system parts such as catch cans, separators, baffles and coolers keep oil where it belongs and control oil vapor in the intake.

Ford Racing's oil pump driveshafts are made from centerless-ground chromoly and have an increased diameter at mid-shaft, which is where most stock shafts fail. They are recommended for use in all performance applications.
