do88 Performance Intercooler — BMW F8X M2C/M3/M4

The S55 twin-turbo engine uses a top-mounted water-cooled intercooler rather than a conventional air-cooled unit. The factory core is Tube & Fin with clamped plastic end tanks — a design prone to cracking and leaking coolant into the engine or boost pressure out through the tank seals.
