Overview

Side splitters really complete the appearance of a GT86, FR-S or BRZ. The Verus Engineering Composite Side Splitters were designed to look good and work. The design pairs a horizontal side splitter with an under-body vertical side skirt, reducing the high-pressure air reaching the underside of the car and cutting both lift and drag.

They bolt to the pinch weld rather than into the underbody, making for a far less invasive install.

State-of-the-art analysis software was used during R&D to extract more performance from the available build volume, and in-house scan data gives a near-OEM fit and finish.

The Engineering

The side splitters reduce vehicle lift by 11 points and drag by 2 points — a coefficient of lift reduction of 0.011 and a coefficient of drag reduction of 0.002. They produce downforce while simultaneously reducing drag. Part of the Ventus 2 kit.
