Overview

Front splitters produce front-end downforce with minimal drag increase, thanks to the large pressure delta between their top and bottom surfaces.

The Verus Composite Adjustable Front Splitter is four splitter sizes in one — it extends between 2 and 5 inches from the front bumper, letting you balance a variety of rear aerodynamic devices. It's constructed from durable, lightweight carbon thermoplastic and mounts to chassis hardpoints through six splitter ties, so it handles high downforce loads. That material is the same one used in top-tier motorsport and isn't brittle: no cracking like carbon or ABS, no bending under the car like aluminum.

State-of-the-art analysis software was used during R&D to extract more performance from the available build volume, and in-house scan data gives a near-OEM fit and finish.

The Engineering

The splitter creates a large high-pressure zone above it and a large low-pressure zone beneath, producing front downforce. Being able to adjust how far it protrudes lets the owner tune front downforce to improve aerodynamic balance. It can form part of the Ventus 1 package; the Ventus 2 package goes further on downforce.
