Overview

The Carbon Ducktail Rear Spoiler adds both style and performance to the C8 Corvette, and covers the mounting holes left behind when the factory rear spoiler is removed.

It was developed to produce downforce by controlling flow around the vehicle rather than on the spoiler itself. That added control increases total vehicle downforce when combined with a larger performance rear wing — with the V1X Swan Neck fitted, Verus measured an increase of over 10% in total vehicle downforce from adding the spoiler, with little drag penalty.

In-house scan data gives a near-OEM fit and finish. It installs on the factory rear bumper with 3M VHB.

Honest note from Verus: on its own, the spoiler offers no aero benefit over the OEM Z51 wing. Its value comes from pairing it with one of the Verus wings.
