Overview

The wind buffeting you get driving with the windows down is a mood killer, and it shows up immediately at any reasonable speed. On a track day where the windows have to stay down, it becomes a real annoyance.

These deflectors solve it and look good doing it. They attach easily with 3M VHB double-sided tape, and each is produced from pre-preg carbon bonded and clear coated in an automotive high-gloss finish.

Scan data taken in-house ensured the units contour properly to the mirror bases, and CFD confirmed they don't disrupt other aerodynamic devices downstream.

The Engineering

The buffeting comes from airflow around the A-pillar attaching and detaching while the windows are down, building pressure waves in the cabin. These deflectors ensure the airflow detaches cleanly as it passes the windows.
