About KW V5
V5 uses KW's Solid Piston damper technology with low- and high-speed valve units connected in series. Compression and rebound each adjust in 13 clicks across the low-speed and high-speed ranges. KW describes it as designed for precise, fast damping on sports cars and super sports cars.

KW builds its coilovers by hand at its headquarters in Fichtenberg, Germany. Each one carries an individual serial number, and KW says every damper is dyno tested before it ships. KW develops vehicle-specific damper and spring setups on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in its own 7-post test center.
