The DBA 5000 Series XS Drilled & Slotted 2-Piece front rotor for the Chevrolet Corvette (C5/C6) is built by Disc Brakes Australia (DBA), a specialist rotor maker with more than 45 years in the business. This one has DBA's XS pattern: a non-directional drilled and slotted face that lets pad dust and gas escape. The hat is finished in black. DBA rotors are sold individually, so order two for a full axle set.

About the DBA 5000 Series

The 5000 Series is DBA's two-piece composite rotor: a high-carbon cast-iron ring bolted to an aerospace-grade T6061-T6 aluminum hat with NAS bolts and crimp nuts. The aluminum hat lowers unsprung weight and passes less heat into the hub, while the iron ring expands evenly. DBA recommends it for high-performance street cars, track days, club racing and rally. Vented versions use DBA's Kangaroo Paw vane layout (144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars), which DBA says adds surface area and cooling efficiency compared with a straight-vane design.
