Overview

The Verus Engineering Transmission Tunnel Cover closes off a turbulent section of the underbody around the transmission. Expect a decrease in drag and an increase in diffuser efficiency once installed. If the car is running rake, you'll also see an increase in downforce.

OEM CAD data was used during design, resulting in a near-OEM fit and finish. Built for owners looking to reduce drag and clean up underbody airflow.

The Engineering

Simple in operation: it reduces the car's coefficient of drag by 0.008 — 8 points — by cutting turbulence in an otherwise open section of underbody. With rake, that flat area starts acting as a diffuser, as does the rest of the underbody, adding downforce. Works alongside either Ventus kit.
