Overview

The Verus Engineering Rear Diffuser combines function, form and science to deliver strong fit, performance and style on the A90 Mk5 Supra. It bolts on with no permanent modifications to the car while retaining significant strength.

State-of-the-art analysis software was used during R&D to extract more performance from the available build volume, increasing downforce and reducing drag on the A90 chassis. In-house scan data gives a near-OEM fit and finish.

On track, the diffuser has increased both straight-line and corner speeds and reduced lap times.

Confirmed fitment: aFe, Akrapovic, Dinan, HKS Dual Muffler Catback, Injen Race Exhaust (slight trimming required), Fi Valvetronic Exhaust System, Magnaflow (slight modification required), OEM, Remark Catback (slight trimming required), Valvetronic Designs Valved Sport Exhaust.

Confirmed NOT to fit: BoostLogic, AWE Touring, AWE Track Edition.

The Engineering

The diffuser decreases overall lift and reduces drag on the A90 chassis, improving aerodynamic efficiency. It creates vortices that keep flow attached to the diffuser surface, further improving performance, and generates a low-pressure zone at the rear while dive planes add frontal downforce to balance it. Together that's the Ventus 1 kit; the Ventus 2 and 3 kits go further on downforce.
