AP Racing Pad Retainer Clip

The spring clip that holds the brake pad seated against the caliper body on AP Racing CP9668 Radi-CAL calipers, preventing the pad rattle that can develop as pads wear.

When to Replace It

If your CP9668 kit has developed a light knock or rattle, particularly over rough surfaces, a worn or fatigued retainer clip is a common and inexpensive cause. Check it before assuming the pads or caliper itself need attention.

Fitment

Fits AP Racing CP9668 Radi-CAL Pro5000R calipers only. Contact us if you're not sure which caliper your kit uses — CP9660/9661 and CP9449/9450/9451 calipers use a different pad retention part, not this clip.
