Part actT2R-F04. A performance clutch kit replaces the factory clutch to hold more torque and give a more consistent engagement.

T2R-F04 race, twin disc kit offers twice the number of disc surfaces for better wear, heat capacity and long life compared to single disc kits. These kits use a proprietary Positive Lift Floater System design, which results in quiet operation with no floater rattle and no posts to wear. ACT twin disc kits undergo an exclusive four-stage, heat-treating process on all diaphragms. The ACT twin disc features the ability to adjust for disc wear and provides equal disengagement for discs. ACT's 6-pad rigid race discs are made with high quality, ceramic friction materials. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for strength and durability. The lightweight, rigid design allows for quicker shifts and trouble-free service. All ACT twin disc kits include a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel to ensure trouble-free installation and operation. ACT twin disc kits include a pressure plate, two discs, a floater, flywheel and alignment tool. Some kits may include a pilot bearing and release bearing.

Features and benefits

"Excellence in Performance", backed by the best one-year warranty in the industry!

Product details

Part type: Clutch Kits

Brand: ACT

SFI: 1.2

Torque Capacity (ft/lbs.): 1263

Torque Capacity Over OE: 268%

Clutch Disc Diameter: 267

Input Spline Quantity: 26

Input Shaft Diameter: 1.125

Part Fitment Requirement: Aftermarket 26 spline.

Flywheel Included: Yes

Pilot Bushing Included: No

Alignment Tool Included: Yes

Grease Included: Yes

Pilot Bearing Included: Yes

Disc Type Sprung Solid: Solid

Clutch Slave Cylinder Included: No

ACT part number: actT2R-F04

Fitment

Vehicle: Ford Mustang (S197), Ford Mustang (SN95)

Years and trims on file: 2008-2009 Ford Mustang Bullitt; 1996-2010 Ford Mustang GT; 2001 Ford Mustang GT Bullitt; 1996-1999 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra; 2001 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra; 2003-2004 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra

Application listing: ACT 2001 Ford Mustang Twin Disc XT Race Kit Clutch Kit

Check the vehicle, model years, engine and trim above against your car before ordering.
